Reiki

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy practice rediscovered by Mikao Usui in the late 1800’s, and then carried to the West by Hawayo Takata. However, this form of healing has been around for centuries.

It is often described as “universal life energy”—the subtle, natural energy that flows through all living things.

Reiki is not something the practitioner “does” to you. Instead, it is a process of allowing this energy to flow where it needs to, supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance.

Reiki is simple and non-invasive. It supports physical relaxation, emotional clarity, and a sense of well-being.

But beyond definitions, Reiki is something you feel.

It is the space where the mind softens. Where you are no longer trying to fix or force anything—only allowing.

Reiki is not about directing or controlling energy. It is about creating the conditions for balance to emerge naturally.

What to Expect from a Reiki Session

A Reiki session is a quiet, restful experience. It's an invitation to pause.

There is no technique to follow. No need to focus or “do it right.” Just allow yourself to be. Reiki will flow where it needs to go.

The practitioner works energetically while you relax.

During the session, you might experience:

  • Deep relaxation or a meditative state
  • Gentle physical sensations (warmth, tingling, or light pressure)
  • Emotional release
  • A sense of clarity
  • Stillness

Each experience is unique. Sometimes it feels profound, sometimes very simple. Both are valid.

After the session, many people feel more centered, lighter, and at ease. Reiki supports your system in finding its own balance.

How Distance Reiki Works

One of the unique aspects of Reiki, as taught in the Usui lineage, is that it's not limited by distance. There is an understanding that energy—and awareness itself—is not confined by space or time.

Through intention and trained practice, Reiki can be offered across space. The practitioner connects with you energetically, like tuning into a frequency, and allows the energy to flow to you wherever you are.

Think of it less as something being “sent,” and more as a connection being made. There is nothing you need to do, nowhere you need to go.

At the scheduled time, find a quiet space where you can rest undisturbed. You may just lie down, sit comfortably, or meditate—whatever feels natural to you.

Distance Reiki is as effective as an in-person session.

Many people report sensations such as warmth or a deep sense of peace—even from miles away.

Experience Distance Reiki

There are times when we feel overwhelmed, out of balance, and need a moment to reconnect with ourselves.

Reiki offers a supportive space to return to calm. A space to slow down, to come back to yourself—without pressure, without expectation.

Distance Reiki sessions allow you to receive this support wherever you are, in the comfort of your own space, in your own time.

Take a moment for yourself. Reconnect, reset, and restore your natural balance.

No live call required.
